Interesting Speculation

On this page, I have some interesting facts drawn from various episodes and other sources, as well as just some speculation on putting MacGyver's history together, despite seemingly conflicting accounts. If you have anything to add, email it to me through my Feedback page.

In the first season, MacGyver worked for the DXS, (Department of External Services), along with his boss, Pete Thornton, and fellow field agent Craig Bannister. By the start of the second season, both MacGyver and Pete were working for the Phoenix Foundation. In the "Ugly Duckling" episode, MacGyver mentions his DXS ID number, XC4479.

Here's some interesting facts from the "Lost Love" (Parts 1 and 2) episodes.

- Pete Thornton's birthday is December 18, 1933.
- Pete Thornton's phone number is 536614
- Arnold Palmer's birthday is September 10, 1929.
- Pete loves golf and Arnold Palmer is his hero.

Here's some interesting facts from the "Hell Week" episode and the "MacGyver on Ice" book.

- MacGyver still has the same brown bomber jacket from college.
- MacGyver was in college in 1973.
- In "MacGyver on Ice", Pete says Mac got his doctorate when he was 24. That would mean Mac probably graduated from college in 1973, getting his undergraduate degree and then gone to graduate school right after that and finished in 2 years by 1975. He could still be only 24 by then, since MacGyver was born approximately in 1950 or 1951.

MacGyver's vehicles
- black Wrangler Jeep (possibly two- one with doors and one without)
- MacGyver's 1946 yellow and brown truck (first introduced in "The Black Corsage". Mac says he got it from Harry)
- blue 1957 (or maybe 1958) Chevrolet Nomad bequeathed to Mac by Harry in "Harry's Will"
The license plate for the truck is 21AB345
You can see all three vehicles parked by MacGyver's houseboat in "MacGyver's Women". MacGyver mainly drives his jeep for the first four seasons (unless he's driving a Phoenix company car, etc.) In the fifth season, MacGyver mainly drives his truck and midway into the sixth season starts driving his Nomad more. By the 7th. season, he drives his jeep some more, as can be seen in "The Stringer". (Although in this episode, he gets his tires blown out on his jeep by the bad guys' guns, and he winds up riding a motorcycle a good bit more.) And by the TV-movies, he drives whatever rental car he can get. (Of course, you've got to love the car with no engine that's rocket-powered in "Lost Treasure of Atlantis"! And he has a very nice red convertible in "Trail to Doomsday" too!)

Here's a breakdown of jeep models used on the show.

First Season:
1986 Jeep Cherokee Chief 4X4 Sport seen in: "Target MacGyver" and "Countdown"
1986 Jeep CJ7 seen in: "The Ugly Duckling"

Second Season:
1987 Jeep Wrangler 4X4 YJ
1987 Jeep Wrangler S 4X4 YJ

Third Season:
1988 Jeep Wrangler 4X4 YJ
(After the third season, no new models were used in the show, but all three vehicles were used in random episodes.)

Observations from "Blind Faith" episode

Pete first met Samantha over 20 years ago when he was first divorced, which was around 1970 or 1971, when he was a field agent for DXS (Department of External Services).
MacGyver wore a brown leather jacket different from his brown bomber jacket of earlier seasons.
Pete says he might be able to handle the loss of sight, but not losing his job and who he is. Samantha says she knows how important that is to him. This is important to note because it is touched on again in "Hind-Sight", where it is revealed that one of the reasons Connie left Pete is because he was married more to his job than he was to her. Pete's dedication to his job and troublesome family relations because of this is also mentioned in "Family Matter" and "Fraternity of Thieves". (The two other episodes where his ex-wife and son show up)

The original working title for "GX-1" episode was "SX-1" and the original working title for "Blow Out" episode was "Burning Fuse". The original working title for "Children of Light" was "From China, With Love". (At least, that's what it says on the scripts!)

MacGyver's answering machine messages-

I believe the first time we hear MacGyver's answering machine message is in the 1st. season episode "Target MacGyver". We hear it again in "Flame's End". These are both different from the messages that MacGyver uses later on in the show. By the third season, MacGyver has a different message that's used in the "Jack in the Box" episode. Murdoc also listens to the messages on MacGyver's answering machine in "The Widowmaker", but we don't actually hear MacGyver's answering machine message in this episode.

MacGyver's answering machine message from "Target MacGyver"- "Hi, MacGyver here. When you hear the beep, let me know what's on your mind."
MacGyver's answering machine message from "Flame's End"- "Hello, this is not MacGyver, so obviously you've reached the wrong number. But if you need to leave a message...(The rest of it I can't make out due to MacGyver's cheering at winning the ice hockey game drowning out the answering machine.)
MacGyver's answering machine message from "Jack in the Box"- "Hi, this is MacGyver. We all know how these things work, so when you hear the beep, go for it!"
Another of MacGyver's answering machine messages- "This is MacGyver. What's your problem?" (Not sure which episode this is from).

Cut Scenes from Syndication

These are all courtesy of Morjana Coffman from the original MacGyver mailing list! Also, keep in mind that these are all comparing the WGN airings (from about 1998-2002 or so) of MacGyver to the original ABC airings. And you can also check out this page from Jackfic.com that has some more listings of cut scenes from the syndicated episodes.

Brainwashed-
(Note: First run MacGyver episodes on ABC ran approximately 45 minutes (without opening and ending credits), and in syndication (on WGN) averagely run about 43 minutes, so *approximately* 2 minutes of episode are edited out for more commercial time.) Following is a transcription of the three scenes that were edited out of: BRAINWASHED (Fourth Season) In this episode, the very beginning of the prolog, the entire epilog, and one minor segment, were deleted for syndication. The prolog began this way: Scene: Wide camera view of a parking lot, situated along side of a water front – possibly a harbor or a river. In the background, we can see the City. In the parking lot, there are a lot of parked cars, and groups of people standing around. A boat travels down the waterway. Camera narrows its focus to view three people – two women and one man – standing next to a car. One woman (Ms. Hendricks) leaves and walks over to where MacGyver is standing. Ms. Hendricks: “Mr. Thornton should have been here an hour ago.” Mac takes a look at this wristwatch. Ms. Hendricks: “Vice President Mantu is asking where he is.” Mac: “Ms. Hendricks, I’m sure he just got tied up somewhere.” Ms. Hendricks: “That’s no excuse to insult foreign dignitaries.” Mac: “I don’t look upon it as ins…(breaks off as hears a car approaching. Mac looks up and sees it is Pete’s car.) See?” Pete pulls up in his car, parks it, and exits car. Mac and Ms. Hendricks walk over to greet him. Pete: “Sorry I’m late.” Now we hear the sound of a helicopter approaching. Everyone looks up to watch the helicopter’s progress. Pete: “Looks like I’m right on time.” Ms. Hendricks: “Just!” And she walks off. Mac: “Ms. Hendricks. Very efficient.” Running time: 1 minute The next small segment that was deleted occurred right after Jack woke Mac up, stating that he thought he was losing his mind. Scene: Takes place out in the parking lot of Mac’s marina. One of Vice President Mantu’s minions is sitting in a parked car, listening to the planted microphone in Mac’s houseboat, as MacGyver makes a telephone call to the Phoenix Foundation. We hear Mac’s side of the conversation as an off screen voice over: Mac: “He said he’s never done it before. Uh huh. Yeah, well I thought it would be a good idea to have a professional look at him. You can! Oh, that’s great! Running time: 11 seconds The entire epilog was deleted for syndication. Scene: takes place at the Phoenix Foundation, in the psychiatrist’s office. In her inner office, the Psychiatrist, Dr Beatty (Linda Darlow) is working with Pete. Pete is seated in a recliner, and his eyes are closed. The room is darkened. In the Doctor’s outer office, Mac and Jack Dalton (Bruce McGill) are watching through the glass wall. Dr. Beatty: “On a countdown from ten, you’ll begin to wake up. 10, 9 – you’ re starting to awaken now – 8, 7, 6 – your eyes are opening – 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.” Dr. Beatty beckons for Mac and Jack to join them. Mac and Jack walk into the room as Pete wakes up. Mac: “Hey, Pete, how you feeling?” Pete: “Ooh, like I’ve been asleep for days.” Dr. Beatty: “In a way, you have been. Just take it easy and you’ll be fine.” Dr. Beatty gets up and leaves the room. Jack: “Boy, who ever thought a classy lady like Edith would try an assassination? Mac: “Well, it happens.” Pete: “I’ll tell you one thing. I never want to hear the words, ‘the respect and gratitude of my people’ again as long as I live.” Jack: “Or, ‘from the bottom of my heart, I salute you’.” Mac’s face becomes very quiet and “blank” looking. In the audio background, there are sound effects that reflect “scary” tidings. Both Pete and Jack notice that Mac has become so still. Pete: “MacGyver?” Pete stands up and moves next to Mac, and Jack steps closer to Mac. Pete: “MacGyver?” Pete touches Mac’s right arm. Jack: “This isn’t funny, Mac! Mac!” And Jack touches Mac’s left arm. Mac raises his eyebrows. Mac: (innocently) “What?” Jack laughs. Pete scowls and makes some scoffing noises, and then raises his right hand and clenches it into a fist. Pete: “Oh!” Running time: 1:16 Total edited time: 2:27

Honest Abe-
The ABC first run version of this episode ran approximately 45:38. The syndicated WGN version ran approximately 43:27, a difference of 2:11. (Not including the opening and closing credits.) HONEST ABE (Seventh Season) The prolog to this episode was split into two halves for syndication. The first deleted scene occurs where the split was put in, and the entire epilog was deleted for syndication. In the syndicated prolog, the prolog ends where MacGyver is being hugged by his godson, Jeffrey (Dan Eisenstein). Mac’s line is, “You’re welcome,” (he had just promised Jeffrey he would pick up Abe at the bus station) and we fade out for commercial. The following footage is deleted: Camera pov is towards the street; we see an “Open Road” bus make a right hand turn from the street into the bus yard. Camera pov then switches to Mac, who is sitting on a bus bench in the sunlight. Mac is wearing his sunglasses (and that yummy royal blue shirt), and has his arms crossed and folded over his chest. Camera pov back to the bus that has now pulled to a stop. We see the bus driver get up and climb down the bus stairs, opening the bus door. Camera pov back on Mac now, who has put his arms down and sits up straighter – he’s looking at the passengers disembarking. Camera pov back to the bus, and we see Abe. Running time: 16 seconds The next deletion was the entire epilog to this episode, which was a shame it was cut. (As the whole episode was about Abe making it to his grandson’s bar mitzvah. Well, that and the high tech helicopter and the terrorists and the dictator, yadda yadda.) Scene opens with a view of the Star of David on the Synagogue wall. Jeffrey walks into the camera view. Jeffrey looks down the street, and then looks around him. Phillip (Michael B. Tucci) – Jeffrey’s father – walks up to him. (Both father and son are wearing their talllits [prayer shawls] and yarmulkes). Phillip: “Face it Jeffrey. Abe’s not coming.” Jeffrey: “What about MacGyver? He’s always dependable.” Phillip: “That’s true. But he’s with Abe now. It’s…it’s a whole new ballgame, son.” Jeffrey: (sighs and sniffs) “Okay. Let’s…let’s go in.” Phillip puts his hand on Jeffrey’s shoulder and they turn around and walk towards the crowd of people standing at the synagogue entrance. Phillip: “Cantor – Rabbi – Everyone. Let’s go in. We’ll start the bar mitzvah now.” To his wife (a very pretty blonde woman), “Honey. Come.” Crowd turns around and starts to walk inside the synagogue. Jeffrey’s posture is now indicative of a very forlorn young man. In the background noise, we hear the sound of car horn honking twice. Jeffrey hears the horn and looks up, scanning the street in front of the synagogue. Camera pov switches to the street, and we see Mac and Abe, in a brown rental car (I hope), drive up very fast. Mac runs the right front tire into the curb as he brakes suddenly to a stop. Camera pov back to the synagogue. Jeffrey: (very excited) “They made it! They’re here!” And runs towards the sidewalk. Phillip follows his son. Camera pov back to the street. Abe (Shelley Berman): (as he is getting out of car) “You were going to start without the grandfather?’ Mac: “And godfather? What’s that all about?” (Mac throws his arms out to his sides in emphasis.) Camera pov back to the sidewalk as Jeffrey arrives with Phillip. Jeffrey: “I knew you’d make it!” Abe: “Hey…” Jeffrey and Abe hug. Phillip looks questioningly towards Mac, and Mac just shrugs his shoulders and looks sheepish. Phillip: “Thank you, MacGyver.” Abe: “What am I, chopped liver?” Phillip: “Thanks for being here, pop.” Abe: “Did you have any doubts? Don’t answer that!” Beckons towards Phillip for a hug. Abe and Phillip hug. “Mazel tov, mazel tov, son.” Phillip steps back. Jeffrey: “So, Gramps? What kept you?” Abe: “Well, we ran into some colleagues of mine. Tuba salesmen.” Jeffrey: “Tuba salesmen?” Phillip: Come on, pop. Tell the truth for once in your life.” Abe: “Okay, okay. They weren’t tuba salesmen.” Jeffrey: “So what happened?” Abe: “Uh, MacGyver?” Looks up at Mac expectantly… Mac: (looks at Abe confused) “What? Huh?” Phillip and Jeffrey look at each other – what are these guys hiding? Mac: “Oh, huh – well, it’s…” Abe and Mac in unison: “It’s kind of complicated.” And the episode ends with a freeze frame of Mac and Abe looking at each other. Running time: 1:55 Total edited time: 2:11

Renegade-
Note: First run MacGyver episodes on ABC ran approximately 45 minutes (without opening and ending credits), and in syndication (on WGN) averagely run about 43 minutes, so *approximately* 2 minutes of episode are edited out for more commercial time.) Following is a transcription of the three segments that were edited out of: RENEGADE (Fourth Season) The three segments that were cut follow one another. They start right after the anthrax bacteria has been stolen, and Steve Morrison (Marshall Teague) has gained access to the locked out elevator. Scene: Elevator. Steve has already taken off the helmet to his biohazard suit, and is now working on getting the suit off of his shoulders. When that is accomplished, he puts the vial of anthrax bacteria into a pouch that is strapped to his side. Running time: 8 seconds Immediate following that scene, is a view of an interior hallway intersection. Mac, Pete, and Dr. Kozby (Stephen Furst) turn left into the hallway facing the camera. Pete: “Could someone have taken the wrong sample by mistake?” Kozby: “I know my people. They are not sloppy.” Running time: 8 seconds Scene: Interior view of the elevator shaft. We see Steve climbing up out of the elevator car. He stands up, and then leans down to close the access hatch. He puts on black leather gloves. Then, he experiences an episode of intense head pain. He leans against the wall of the elevator shaft, and is finally able to shake off the pain. Looking up, he grabs the rope he climbed down into the elevator shaft on, and starts climbing out. Running time: 43 seconds Total edited time: 1:09

The Gun-
The ABC first run version of this episode ran approximately 46:03. The syndicated WGN version ran approximately 44:01, a difference of 2:02. (Not including the opening and closing credits.) THE GUN (Sixth Season) There were four deleted scenes in this episode. The first deleted scene was cut from the prolog. In the prolog, there is an Environmental Fair being held at the Challenger Center that Pete and Mac are participating in. Breeze (Charles Andres Payne) is supposed to be there – it ’s his project. Mac goes to a phone and calls Breeze to see where he is. After their conversation, the following scene was deleted for syndication: Breeze is seen stepping outside of his home. It’s a beautiful summer day. Breeze climbs down the porch steps. Breeze; “Hang tough mother nature, the breeze is on the way.” Breeze then walks down the driveway to the sidewalk, where two children are playing hopscotch. Breeze talks to them briefly, and then jumps through their hopscotch, and continues walking down the sidewalk. He turns and waves goodbye to the kids. Running time: 17 seconds The next sequence cut occurred just after the show returned from a commercial break following the prolog. In the syndicated version, the scene opens at the Maddock Gun Factory. In the original version, it opened this way: Interior setting of an office. Camera is looking out a window, overlooking the harbor. Off screen, we can hear the sound of a television broadcast. As we listen to the broadcast, the camera slowly pans across the room towards the TV set. Female announcer: “In the news. The bullet which yesterday took the life of Office Richard Cromwell, was found to be fired from the same gun which was used twenty years ago by Doman Yashir to assassinate then Presidential Candidate, Senator David R. Harrison. The startling discovery was made by Dr. Lloyd Fisher, who was part of the forensic team which investigated the assassination of Senator Harrison. Earlier this afternoon, a press conference was held by Dr. Fisher." (The camera is now on the TV set. We see a typical looking press conference: a man standing behind a lectern [with the sign: Metropolitan Police on it], and flags in the background.) Dr. Fisher: "I realized immediately that the bullet came from the same type of gun that killed the Senator. It’s an unusual gun. Out of curiosity, and because I was so closely involved in the investigation of the Senator’s death, I made a close comparison." (Two slides are shown on the TV screen. One is labeled: Harrison bullet – 1968. The second slide is labeled: Patrolman bullet – 1990.) "As you see, the striations of the two bullets are identical. There is no doubt they came from the same gun.” Now we see (from the rear) a man walk up to the TV set and turn it off. Then he turns to the right, walks a few steps to his desk, and picks up the telephone receiver. He dials a telephone number (well, touches the touchtone numbers of a telephone number). Note: In the next scene, this man is identified as the Rachid Zamora (Jay Brazeau) the gun runner. Running time: 1:01 The next scene that is deleted took place right after Mac, Breeze and Laura Fowler (Julie Downing) are kidnapped (again? Geez, Mac.) from Laura’s home by Maddock’s minions, Wyatt (Dan Muldoon) and Bad Guy #2. In the syndicated version, they are kidnapped, and then are seen walking into the Maddock gun factory. This is what was deleted: Exterior view of a parking lot. We see a car approaching at a high rate of speed. It pulls up to a stop in front of the Maddock Gun Factory. In the front seat, Wyatt is driving, and Bad Guy #2 is in the passenger seat. Behind Bad Guy #2 in the rear seat, are Mac, Laura and Breeze. Wyatt and Bad Guy #2 get out of the car. Wyatt opens the left rear passenger door, and Breeze and Laura get out. Bad Guy #2 opens the right rear passenger door. Bad Guy #2 (to Mac): “Come on. Get out.” Mac gets out of the car, and they all walk into the Maddock Gun Factory. Amazingly – they weren’t restrained (hands tied) by the bad guys. Running time: 21 seconds The last deleted scene was taken from the fifth act, just as the show returned from commercial. In the syndicated version, we see a shot of the big rig driving down the street, that has the cargo container inside, with Mac, Breeze and Laura inside the cargo container. This is how the scene originally opened: Exterior view of the Phoenix Building. Off screen female voice talking: Female: “No, Mr. Thornton, still no word from MacGyver…” Camera pov is now inside of Pete’s office. Pete is standing behind his desk, listening to the speakerphone, and looking at his watch. He looks worried. Female voice: “I’ll let you know the moment I hear something.” Pete picks up a legal size file folder that was lying on his desk. He flips through the file, and then closes it. Pete looks at his watch again. Pete turns suddenly, grabs his jacket that was lying on a file cabinet, and leaves the office with the file folder. Running time: 23 seconds Total edited time: 2:02

Thin Ice-
(Note: First run MacGyver episodes on ABC ran approximately 45 minutes (without opening and ending credits), and in syndication (on WGN) averagely run about 43 minutes, so *approximately* 2 minutes of episode are edited out for more commercial time.) Following is a transcription of the portion of the prologue that was cut for syndication from: THIN ICE (Third Season) This episode originally started: Scene: wide view of a small town street. Nighttime. Across the street, is a huge banner, which reads: WELCOME TO THE MINNESOTA State College Hockey Championships We hear a voice, and it’s the announcer of the hockey game. As we listen, we are given a brief tour of this small town’s city streets. Announcer: “Henderson behind the net, looking for somebody to pass to. Fires it back to the point. Webster with a shot. Garrett makes the save. The puck is dumped into the corner. Henderson there digging for it, gets it back to the point again. And again, it’s Weasel Wilson winding up with a shot. He shoots! He scores! Weasel Wilson has given the Hawk’s a 6-to-5 lead. A power play playing off for the Hawks. They now have a one goal lead.” We see many home made signs on businesses – A plumbing store (Raider Rooters). An almost deserted billiards hall – but for two people seated at a table, listening to a portable radio (Raiders #1). A video store (Go Raiders, Go). A closed restaurant (Closed for tonight’s game. See you tomorrow). Running time: 35 seconds

Halloween Knights-
Note: First run MacGyver episodes on ABC ran approximately 45 minutes (without opening and ending credits), and in syndication (on WGN) averagely run about 43 minutes, so *approximately* 2 minutes of episode are edited out for more commercial time.) Following is a transcription of the scenes that were edited out of: HALLOWEEN KNIGHTS (Fifth Season) The first deleted scene takes place right after Murdoc (Michael Des Barres) convinces Mac to help rescue Ashton, Murdoc’s sister. Scene opens with an exterior shot of a building, with signage that reads, “Hellman Club”. Then, we see the lovely Sonia (Jo-Anne Bates) walking down a hall, escorting a man (who turns out to be Mr. Greggs, the H.I.T. applicant), to the elevator that will take him downstairs to “Death Row”. Running time: 32 seconds The next deleted scene takes place right after the H.I.T. applicant, Mr. Greggs, has failed to pass the entry test. The scene takes place inside the “Death Row” control booth. Hellman (Daniel Davis): “Did you see?” And Greggs was one of the best freelance operatives in the field.” Sonia: “But Murdoc IS better!” Hellman: “No matter. 'Death Row' is no longer a testing facility. It’s become a killing ground. Designed especially for Murdoc.” Hellman then turns to the console, depresses a button, and Sonia and Hellman walk out of the control room. Running time: 20 seconds Total edited time: 52 seconds

The Invisible Killer-
(Note: First run MacGyver episodes on ABC ran approximately 45 minutes (without opening and ending credits), and in syndication (on WGN) averagely run about 43 minutes, so *approximately* 2 minutes of episode are edited out for more commercial time.) Following is a transcription of the three segments that were edited out of: THE INVISIBLE KILLER (Fourth Season) In this episode, a portion of the prolog, another small segment, and the entire epilog were cut for syndication. This is how the prolog originally began: Scene: A wide view of a road in a forest, and Mac’s jeep seen from a distance, traveling down the road. Then the camera view shows a side view of Mac as he is driving. (Mac is seen wearing the blue “Phoenix” baseball cap.) Then we hear Mac’s voice over narration: Mac: “When Pete Thornton established a stress relief program for Phoenix Foundation employees, I thought it was a pretty good idea. The four men I was going to meet worked in high pressure Phoenix positions throughout the country. My job was to take them over Mt. Cascade on a five-day hike. They’d have a chance to blow off some steam and just forget about their jobs. And me? Well it was just something I’d like to do.” Running time: 30 seconds The next segment that was cut originally followed right after Mac with the “Phoenix” employees. Scene: the rest stop area, where we earlier observed the first murder take place. Parked at the rest stop we see a gold colored station wagon. Under the hood of the car, is Dad. At the tailgate of the station wagon, we see Mom moving items around. Playing next to the car are a young boy and a young girl, they are throwing a Frisbee around. Boy: “Come on, throw it harder!” The little girl throws the Frisbee back harder, and it flies over the boy’s head, and off into the trees. Boy: “Oh, great, Melissa!” The boy goes after the Frisbee, stepping into the underbrush around the trees. As he bends down to pick up the Frisbee, he can see the murdered man’ s body. Boy is startled, and turns back toward his family. Boy: “D-a-d? DAD!” And takes off running back towards his family. Running time: 18 seconds (Not only can I see why this segment was cut for syndication, I’m really surprised a scene like this one ever made it into a “MacGyver” episode.”) The entire epilog was cut for syndication. Scene: The original meeting place for Mac and his “Phoenix” employees. We see a sheriff’s car, with a female deputy seated inside. Standing next to the car, is Sheriff Hubbard (Blu Mankuma). Seated on the nearby picnic table are Mac and Liz (Jean Bruce Scott), the Forest Ranger. Pete is standing over by the Mt. Cascade kiosk. Sheriff Hubbard is on the car phone. Hubbard: “All the prisoners have been returned to custody. No, uh, no thanks necessary, Mr. Supervisor.” (Hubbard hands the phone back to the deputy). Sheriff then walks over to where Mac and Liz are sitting. Hubbard: “Well, the next time something like this happens, we’ll have more men and better equipment.” Mac: (Looks towards Pete.) “Hey, Pete, do you think the Phoenix board will keep the program going?” Pete: “Well, I’m going to recommend that they do. (Walks over to the join Mac, Liz and Hubbard.) Listen, you can’t live your life waiting around in fear for the next prison break to happen. In fact, I’m going to do everything I can to get the program re-named to honor those men who died.” Hubbard: “You make sure you tell your people that if MacGyver hadn’t been here, there still might be a couple of killers on the loose.” Pete: “Listen, right now, I’m just glad the whole thing is over.” Female deputy walks up to the Sheriff, phone in hand. “Sheriff, your wife is on the phone. She wants to know when you’re coming home. Your twins have the measles.” Hubbard: (makes a wry face) “MacGyver, when is your program starting up again?” Pete laughs. Mac smiles. Running time: 1:01 Total edited time: 1:49
